This practice is designed for clients who are ready to engage in gentle, consistent trauma recovery work using evidence-based methods like WET and NET, blended with Christian hope. If you're not quite ready for regular sessions yet (e.g., just researching or needing crisis stabilization first), that's perfectly okay—I can recommend resources or colleagues to support you until you're ready.
In this practice, homework is always gentle, optional, and assigned only when you're ready and able (never during high-stress, grief, or busy seasons). It empowers you to make meaningful progress between our sessions—whether through creative expression, Scripture reflection, learning resources, or simple tools. Most healing happens in the space between sessions, and I love collaborating with you to find activities that feel life-giving and aligned with your goals. Feel free to select any that appeal to you—we'll customize everything to your pace and comfort.
In this practice, I specialize in gentle, proven trauma therapies: Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and creative/expressive methods like art, music, and nature therapy—all blended with Christian faith and grace. I do not offer EMDR. Exposure-based therapies (ERP or PE/ET) are used rarely and only after foundational trauma healing, following best practices. We'll always tailor your treatment to what feels safe, effective, and aligned with your goals.
